What started out as a side event in the 1999 Tech Trek, It grew to be the premiere web design competition in the University of the Philippines. Being the first of its kind adds to the prestige the Webmaster's Challenge already has, for every year, the entries keep growing in number and get better and better. With the emergence of rich media applications and scripting technologies, the next edition of the Webmaster's Challenge will showcase once again the talent and creativity of the UP student.
